MATERIALS AND TREATMENT
Clamps: Corten steel
Protective elements: Plastic
CORTEN STEEL
Corten steel is a special steel alloy. Its composition differs from that of regular steel. The oxidation process for corten steel can take up to 2 years depending on the location. Corten steel products are supplied in rustless or limited rust versions. Natural vinegar or a salt solution (max. 50 grams per litre) can be used to accelerate the oxidation process. It can be applied with a moist cloth or plant spray. Any rust stains on paving will fade slowly. Stains can also be removed using a rust stain removing agent.
The extended legs and crossbar are buried and can then be paved.
