The Easylift 500D is a DIN79008 certified two-tier bicycle rack. We are proud to say that this high-quality parking system is recommended by the ADFC (test seal Q1802, 11/2018 - tested in accordance with the latest DIN for bicycle parking systems, DIN79008). Like other two-tier bicycle racks, the Easylift 500D allows bicycles to be parked on top of one another. This doubles parking capacity all at once.
The Easylift 500D model is special because it is yet more mindful of user safety and user-friendliness. The lowered upper parking rails touch the ground in both high and low positions, so the front wheel must only be lifted by 310mm when storing the bicycle. Integrated gas pressure springs allow the upper rails to be lowered automatically and hands-free. These also help to lift the upper rail. Each space is also equipped with a frame connection bracket.
All of the Easylift 500D’s moving parts are essentially designed to eliminate risk of injury from entrapment of limbs. The mechanism is secured and inaccessible, making vandalism virtually impossible. The upper rails are marked with signal colours to avoid catching one’s head.
Advantages for the user:
- safe and stable bicycling parking in every parking place
- frame connection bracket in each space
- especially user-friendly and safe
- the locking system prevents falls
- Protruding parts are covered securely by a protective cover

REDUCING CO2 EMISSIONS
In developing the Easylift 500D, we took the reduction of CO2 emissions into careful consideration. As a result, our CO2 emissions during the production process have now been reduced by 35%. That is an average of 515 tonnes per year!
MATCHING MARKERS
In order to make it easier to find your bicycle, there are options to use different colours for the grips on the racks. Marker posts or identification numbers are also options for finding the right aisles.
STABILITY AND SECURITY
Thanks to the advantageous wheel handle design and the anti-roll safety features, your bike is safe and well protected. Wheels cannot roll out of the racks or come off the rails.
LOW TRESHOLD HEIGHT
The rail comes down to the ground. To place it on the rail, the user must only lift the front wheel to the wheel clamp at a height of approx. 31 cm. The bicycle is then parked on the upper level.
MINIMAL EFFORT
In pushing the bicycle upwards, the user is supported by the Easylift 500D's system of gas springs. This means that minimal effort is required from the cyclist. The upward operating force for bicycles that weigh around 20 kilos is:
- less than 15 kilos up to a height of 135 cm above the ground
- less than 10 kilos from a height of 135 cm and higher
DAMPING AND FLUID MOTION
The extendible part of the rack is pushed back in a fluid, straight motion and slowly comes down thanks to the unique damping system. Users say the whole movement is smooth, fluid and enjoyable.
ERGONOMICALLY DESIGNED HANDLES
The plastic handle has an ergonomic shape. The handle’s diameter, structure, measurements and design make it very user-friendly for both left and right-handed people.
DRAINAGE SYSTEM
The clever drainage system ensures that users cannot be surprised by a sudden ‘shower’ when they pull out parts of the rack.
IDEAL FOR SITE MANAGERS
Movability: Anchoring the system into the ground is possible but not essential. It could be useful during installation and when the system is temporarily moved.
Vandal-proof: All the critical components are covered and not easily accessible. The construction is fitted with vandal-proof security bolts.
Level adjustment: The frames can be adjusted in two directions to compensate for any irregularities in the floor.
Standard installation is onto the ground, on a concrete floor. Other installation options may be possible. Please ask about the possibilities.
