As a measure to stimulate Safety in Tenders (ViA) in the construction industry, VelopA has decided to use the NEN Safety Culture Ladder (also known as Safety Ladder) as an instrument.
VelopA delivers wooden products with the FSC® certificate. De Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is an international organisation that works to protect and manage forests responsibly worldwide. FSC® forest management standards are developed at an international level, and are then adapted to individual countries legal, social and geographic settings, through national standards.
Since 2010, VelopA has had an environmental protection system in place that meets the ISO 14001 standard. This enables the company to manage and minimize environmental risks.

VelopA was awarded the International Quality standard ISO 9001 in 1998, and it also complies with the most recent version of this quality management system, ISO9001:2015.

VelopA measured its carbon footprint for the years 2013. A company's carbon footprint means the environmental impact that a company has in the form of CO2 and other greenhouse gases through its business activities.
