MATERIALS AND FINISH
Seat and backrest: pressed and oiled bamboo, durability class 1

Bamboo grows very quickly, absorbs 4 times more CO2 than wood, and releases 35% more oxygen. It is also stronger than wood and retains its shape well. In short, bamboo is a fully-fledged alternative to sustainable FSC®-certified hardwood.

MAINTENANCE ADVICE
VelopA’s bamboo planks come pre-treated with bamboo oil as standard. We recommend cleaning the planks at least once a year with a stain remover and treating them with a water-based bamboo oil to prevent graying and staining.
