Calidum Light bench double-sided with half-backrest bamboo.

The Calidum Light bamboo bench is also available in a version with a half-backrest. This gives it a contemporary look whilst offering comfortable support. In addition, the double-sided design provides seating on both sides, making the bench particularly suitable for busy public spaces, squares and parks. In this way, comfort, flexibility and design are naturally combined.

The Calidum Light benches are characterised by a high-quality finish and concealed bamboo slats. The collection consists of modular seating elements, allowing for a variety of layouts and configurations.

MATERIALS AND TREATMENT
Seat and backrest: pressed and oiled bamboo, durability class 1
VelopA’s bamboo is of the very highest quality and offers many advantages. This environmentally responsible product contributes to a healthy ecosystem. Bamboo grows very quickly, absorbs four times more CO₂ than wood and releases as much as 35 per cent more oxygen. It is also stronger than wood and retains its shape well. Furthermore, just like wood, it has a warm, natural appearance. Bamboo has a long lifespan, which is another reason why it is a responsible choice. In short, bamboo is a fully-fledged alternative to sustainable FSC®-certified hardwood.

MAINTENANCE ADVICE
VelopA’s bamboo planks are oiled with bamboo oil as standard. We recommend cleaning the planks at least once a year with a deposit remover and treating them with a water-based bamboo oil to prevent greying and the build-up of deposits.

MONTAGE

Standard anchoring using threaded rods in a concrete foundation below ground level.
