MATERIALS AND TREATMENT
Corten steel: Corten steel is a special steel alloy. Its composition differs from that of regular steel. Corten steel products are supplied in rustless or limited rust versions. The corten steel oxidation process can take up to two years, depending on the location.
Natural vinegar or saltwater (max. 50 grams per litre) can be used to accelerate the oxidation process. It can be applied with a moist cloth or plant spray. Any rust stains on paving will fade slowly. Stains can also be removed using a rust stain removing agent.
For securing on a hard surface, anchor bolts can be used. For securing on other surfaces, the Reposa bollard can be affixed with steel anchors.
