Cycling’s popularity is growing. The bicycle parking capacity at the train station didn’t fulfil the needs anymore. Therefore Southern Rail searched for extra capacity and found the solution in the two-tier bicycle parking Easylift+. Our distributor Cyclepods provided 300 extra bicycle places spread over four different train stations. These 300 bicycle places are almost all filled directly. Southern Rail is very pleased with the user friendliness and the looks of the products.
This Omnistadium is 4 meters high. This both prevents balls exiting the Omnistadium and gives it the stadium look the MUGA was designed for. This particular Omnistadium has both goals and baskets on the upper ends and goals in the sides. Children and visitors of the camping can enjoy different games in duos or in groups.
The Von Broichhausen-Stift care home in Kempen, Germany, has a garden that is specifically designed for those with senile dementia. The number of residents with senile dementia in the care home is growing. So the new garden had to be accessible, securely enclosed and easy to monitor. There is room in the garden to move around safely, and the garden stimulates memories.

Ms Schürmann of the City Parks Committee in Kempen, who was involved in the design of this garden, talks about its special features: ‘It is important that the garden is a space where you feel comfortable, where you can have some privacy and relax. This applies to residents, visitors and employees alike.’ In the garden there is a recreation of a bus stop and the garden contains elements that stimulate the senses.
Warm materials and a design that elderly people feel comfortable with.
The Vivanti products that were selected have a warm look and feel, and have been designed especially for the elderly, of course. For the Lievenberg hospital in Bergen op Zoom we designed a tailor-made bench. The bench, in the shape of a wave, is a real eyecatcher and offers great seats for many people. The hardwood bench is made of billing wood, giving it a unique and exclusive look, whilst being resistant against influences from the weather.
The storage solution of choice for Waterloo were our cutting edge two tier bike racks – the Easylift+ – considering the very limited space available at the station this was the best option to provide the 330 new secure cycle parking spaces to support the sustainable travel choices of its daily commuters.
The Easylift+ is a highly convenient two-level bicycle parking system. The gas-assisted lifting system ensures that a bicycle can be parked on the top level effortlessly. The end of the light-weight aluminium groove rests on the ground so that the bicycle can simply be wheeled onto it and hardly has to be lifted at all. The two levels mean that the parking capacity is doubled!
We undertook the necessary groundwork requirements for the project in one of London’s most active environments without disrupting the day-today runnings of the country’s busiest transport hub.

Sometimes there are those projects that make you instantly happy, like this colourful bicycle shelter in HUIS van Roosendaal. The old municipal office has recently been completely renovated into the ''HUIS van Roosendaal'', with sustainability, health, flexibility and efficient use of space being key priorities.
Marijn de Kok interieurarchitecten and marketing agency Sterke Zaak have transformed the former bleak bicycle basement in this municipal office into an eye-catching and Instagrammable bicycle shelter. With sustainability in mind, the old municipal office's radiators and facade have been reused. In combination with a graphic pattern in bright colours, the bicycle shelter has been turned into a real eye-catcher.
It makes for a cheerful start to the day for the people working in the HUIS van Roosendaal. VelopA has been commissioned to supply E-lokk charging cabinets, Fourchet+ and Apropos bicycle racks, Scala Sheffield stands, Reposa benches and an IBOMBO bike repair station for this unique project. These colour-coded e-lockers, bike racks and benches, made on request, form a functional addition to this colourful bicycle shelter.
At the headquarters of Murtfeldt the employees have the facilities to park their bicycles safe and dry. Thanks to the bicycle stand Variant+ and the shelter Meccado (version with perforated metal). The lockable part of the shelter provides a save parking place for the business tractor.
The central station in Breda, designed by Koen van Velsen architects and awarded the 2017 BNA prize for Best Building of the Year, has a beautiful underground bicycle shelter. In the bicycle shelter, cyclists can bike straight through the building on a white natural stone bicycle path and safely park their bike in the Easylift Premium two-tier bicycle racks. The guarded bicycle shelter under the station currently houses 1,600 bicycles. In total, there is room for about 4,500 two-wheelers within close proximity of the station. This is where bicycles find a space they deserve!
The access paths to the park are fitted with barrier posts (Amsterdammertjes). Some are removable and can be stored in our lockable Drop-Box storage element.
This Omnistadium has a special feature. Because it is sligtly deepend, it can be flooded and as suchs been used as a ice rink in wintertime. It has an Ice Hockey "step gate" entrance that enables easy entraces, yet leaves the full rebound capabilities intact.
A large Omnistadium of 13.20 x 24.70 meters. The sides are 4 meter high and this was the first Omnistadium in the Netherlands to do so.
Monday 18 November 2013 saw the opening of the brand new underground bicycle parking facility at Stationsplein in Rotterdam. This spacious and colourful bicycle parking facility is equipped with the Easylift+ two-tier bicycle parking system.
It has a total of 5,190 bicycle parking spaces, of which 1,430 are guarded. There is a direct connection from the new underground bicycle parking facility to Rotterdam Centraal railway station and the public transport terminal.
Colours to match the metro station
The facility was designed by architect Maarten Struijs. One of his trademarks is the use of colour, which in this case matches the colours used in Rotterdam Centraal metro station. The ceiling, columns and walls are pearl white. The floor of the main walkway is red, while purple, blue, green, yellow and orange are used for the walkways with the bicycle racks.
Each walkway is numbered
In addition to having its own colour, each walkway is numbered and the handles of the bike racks are also coloured one of six colours. This makes it easier to find your bike again.
Sensors
To ensure that there is enough space for everyone, cyclists cannot use the unguarded sections as a place to store their bicycle. The facility has sensors which monitor how long each bike is parked. The bike will be removed if the limit is exceeded.

Easylift+
The Easylift+ is an easy-to-use, dual-level bicycle parking system. The bicycles are parked one above the other, which doubles the storage capacity. The system uses integrated gas springs which help you lift your bicycle to the upper storage level. A unique system of dampers ensures a safe and controlled hands-free descent when retrieving your bicycle. This makes storing your bicycle on the upper level a lot easier.
The Easylift+ is now also available with a centre-to-centre distance of 40cm. This will enable cyclists to park their bikes more easily and discourage people from parking their bikes in a way that inconveniences others.
We designed and provided a multipurpose field for Sportpark Woudhoek in Schiedam. The field is next to a school and is also used for PE lessons. After school hours it is used as a Richard Krajicek Playground. The square was created after the school and the Richard Krajicek Foundation had asked us for a proposal. The design attempts to maximize the number of different sports offered on the field. On this field are 13 different sports possible. From basketball, soccer and volleyball, pole soccer and street hockey.
Guests at the Beusink Recreatie holiday farm and group accommodation in Lievelde can now play sports to their heart’s content in the largest Omnistadium in Europe. You can play a game of football, basketball, hockey, korfball or handball in the newly constructed sports cage. The main reason for purchasing this multifunctional sports cage was to attract more tourists to the beautiful Achterhoek region of the Netherlands. Guests of the Beusink family feel like they are in an actual stadium right there in Lievelde.
Jeroen Beusink discovered the VelopA products back in 2008, but work on the sports and play facilities didn’t start until this year. “VelopA may not be the cheapest, but they definitely have amazing products. Beusink did not need a building permit to construct this multipurpose and maintenance-free sports cage. The cooperation with VelopA went exceptionally well and guests have all responded very positively so far.

SnowWorld in Zoetermeer is much more than just snow. The company offers a growing range of sports, fun and health related activities to attract families, groups and companies all year round. In the new Omnistadium designed by VelopA, people of all ages can play football, basketball, tennis, hockey, handball, volleyball and engage in outdoor fitness all year round.
The field is 21 x 35 m, so it is suitable for longitudinal and latitudinal field sports. The Omnistadium has tennis and volleyball nets, small football goals and small hockey goals. The fence is solid and soundproof. The porous concrete floor makes the sports cage suitable for many different activities.
Porous concrete
"Porous concrete is very suitable for outdoor sports floors," says Wout Koning, manager of the health clubs of SnowWorld Zoetermeer and Landgraaf and member of the marketing team. "I searched online for a company that could deliver it. We deliberately chose a cage that is smaller than the surface area of the concrete, because this enabled us to create a running track around it."

In August 2019, the second part of the bicycle shelter was opened in Utrecht. 12,500 cyclists can now park their bicycles in the largest bicycle shelter in the world. In order to create this many bicycle parking spaces, CapaCITY two-tier bicycle racks were installed. In CapaCITY, the bicycles are stored on top of one another, which doubles the bicycle parking capacity.
The Mennica Legacy Tower complex in Warsaw, consisting of two modern office buildings, is an example of how architecture, sustainability, and mobility can go hand in hand. The office buildings were designed by the renowned architectural firm from Chicago - Goettsch Partners. Both structures are pioneering in terms of energy efficiency and environmentally friendly solutions.
An important aspect for the client in this project was the creation of a contemporary infrastructure for people commuting to the office by bicycle. This led to the need for a high-quality bicycle storage facility.
